Arkadeep Acharya

👋 Hey, I'm Arkadeep.

I am an undergrad student at IIT Patna pursuring a degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Currently I am fortunate to be working under the supervision of Dr. Sriparna Saha at AI-NLP-ML Lab, IIT Patna . I work on a variety of NLP problems, including Alignment, Recommendation Systems, Retreival Model and development of LLMs and VLMs for Healthcare and in low resource languages. Additionally, I have also collaborated with researchers from Sony, Microsoft , IBM and Amazon AI.

I have also completed 2 internships at IBM Research Lab, India (May 2024 - Aug) under the mentorship of Rudra Murthy , Vishwajeet Kumar and Jaydeep Sen and at Sony Research India (May 2023 - July 2023) under the guidance of Brijraj Singh .

My research interests include natural language processing (NLP) and Multimodal AI. However, I am always eager to explore new research directions.
